On Clouds (by Bluebird)

I had this experience the other day

watching the sky

I was floating in the creek and every type of cloud was flying past

I was floating, clouds were flying

I was still and my thoughts were wild and stormy and I couldn't control them

They were turbulent and upsetting

I had to just let them pass

because how could one complain, floating in the water and the sun?

I told my Albatross about the bother

and how I was trying to self-soothe

and he said, "that sounds healthy"

and floated along

There was a Cumulus cloud that looked like the palindrome of a dog we know

There was a Cirrus cloud that looked like the tailfeathers of a Silkie chicken

There was a Stratus cloud that looked like that night's dinner

The next day the sky was clear —;

Bluebird
